The DD4 RIII S Upper Receiver Group is a short-barreled solution for optimal maneuverability, reliability, accuracy, and terminal ballistics using a wide variety of ammunition. A 10.5 Inch RIS III rail – modeled after the revolutionary RIS II two-piece handguard developed for SOCOM – features M-LOK attachment for lighter weight and surrounds a free-floating, Cold hammer Forged 11.5 inch Government Profile barrel. Its carbine length gas system provides smooth, reliable cycling under harsh conditions and reduces perceived recoil. Right and left-handed shooters benefit the ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle, and the upper ships with an M16 Profile bolt carrier group.
